Circumstances under which refunds may be issued for accommodation bookings at PG Ghar.
At PG Ghar, we strive to provide a transparent and fair booking experience. By making a booking with us, you agree to the terms described below.

2. Booking Amount
Depending on the accommodation selected, a booking amount or security deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. The applicable amount will be communicated to you before confirmation.
3. Refund Eligibility
- A booking is cancelled in accordance with the cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.
- PG Ghar is unable to provide the confirmed accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances.
- An excess payment is made due to a verified payment error.
- A duplicate payment is successfully verified.
4. Non-Refundable Charges
- Charges for services already provided.
- Amounts deducted due to property damage.
- Outstanding utility charges or other agreed deductions.
- Administrative or processing charges, where previously disclosed.
- Any non-refundable booking amount communicated before confirmation.
5. Cancellation by the Resident
Refund eligibility depends on the stage of the booking, the cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking, applicable deductions, and the reason for cancellation. Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a refund.
6. Cancellation by PG Ghar
If PG Ghar is unable to provide the confirmed accommodation, we will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative (subject to availability) or process an eligible refund.
7. Security Deposit Refund
Where collected, a refundable security deposit may be refunded after completion of stay, room inspection, settlement of dues, return of property/access devices, and verification of no damage beyond normal wear and tear.
8. Refund Process
To request a refund, please contact us with your full name, registered mobile number, booking details, payment information and reason for the refund request.
9. Refund Timeline
Once approved, refunds are generally processed within 7 to 14 business days. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
10. Payment Method
Approved refunds will generally be made through the original payment method, wherever feasible.
11. Incorrect Payment Information
PG Ghar is not responsible for delays or failed refunds resulting from incorrect bank account or payment information provided by the customer.
12. Force Majeure
Refunds may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, government restrictions, public emergencies and technical failures.
13. Changes to This Refund Policy
PG Ghar reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Any changes will be published with the revised Effective Date.
